Optimizing for motion and video requires Cisco Webex video platform version 2.0. To find out which version you're using, see Find Your Cisco Webex Meetings Version Number. The feature also requires that your site settings permit joining meetings from video systems. If you don't see the optimization menu, contact your system administrator. 
1Go to Share content and select Optimize for text and images or Optimize for motion and video. 

If you're sharing your screen or an application to play a video or an animation, select Optimize for motion and video. Video playback is smoother because of the higher frame rate. If you don't optimize for motion and video, Webex optimizes your content for text and images. 
2If you selected Optimize for motion and video and your content includes sound, check the Share your computer audio check box. 
We recommend this option if you're sharing a video or animation that has sound. Everyone can hear what you're sharing through the Webex Audio conference, whether they join from a phone, VoIP, or a video system. 

Mac os x lion for pc amd. Mac users: The first time that you choose to share your computer audio, Webex prompts you to install audio drivers.
Select Install and follow the on-screen instructions, or select Cancel. 
3Select the content that you want to share.

You can change your optimization setting while you're sharing content. Select Share at the top of the screen, and then select Share Content. 
A Cisco Webex video device that's connected using an HDMI cable can automatically detect and adapt to content with high levels of motion.

As of March 20th, 2019 there is a fix for this issue.
Issue: Webex Meeting icon no longer works in Outlook on the Mac version 16.23 and higher.

Go to Finder, type in Application find Webex folder and click on uninstall Webex Meetings. Click restart when that is done then go download Webex Meetings application from . (we are working on getting this download on our installation directions).
Select Webex Meeting and follow the installation steps.

When you get prompted to add your primary email, do so and follow the login prompts.

Microsoft Outlook for Mac 16.23 and Later Incompatibility
Due to a Microsoft Outlook for Mac code change, the current Mac Outlook plug-in for the Webex Desktop Application and Productivity Tools does not work with Outlook 16.23 and later versions for Mac. The Cisco team is actively working with Microsoft to address this issue, Cisco advises customers to stay on an earlier version until this issue is addressed.
Once the newer version of Outlook is installed, there is no known way at this time to uninstall and revert back to an older version.
If running Outlook 16.23 or later, one may get an error message when launching Outlook with the latest Desktop version installed.
